I don't get it either, it's not just you. Honestly, the appeal to me was MTM in ridiculously 90s style outfits. I was just sold on that alone.

What is this BMR fashion trend? Is it a real thing, or something made up for Barbie? By the time I figure out what it is, it will be on its way out, that's almost a certainty.
It is an amazing looking uniform, and that doll is on the standard MTM body, so it will likely fit a good few dolls.
The line is called BMR1959, though I'm not entirely sure on what the fashion trend is. It's a line of street wear, from what I can find out. I think it's meant to be the 90s are cool again, but who knows?

Anyway. if you're still in this stage, continue dreaming and looking until you find the doll that is right for you. Especially if you want to go on the higher end. I had a few regrets with fullset dolls that couldn't stand up to a bunch of customs, where as a cranky little Neemo could
Yeah, I fully understand what you're saying there. Of the two resins on that list, only one is a fullset and that's more because the full-set is genuinely what keeps pulling me to that little one. The other would require me to make outfits for her which isn't too hard to do. She would be a representation of a book character that means a lot to me. However, since the UK dealer Angelesque has stopped taking orders, even if I do save up the money now, I will need to consider customs fees on top of that.

The braids are really a high sell for this doll. There is a fashionista with this hairstyle but I love having the MTM bodies. They're much easier to get looking good in a picture. At least, I think so - the more articulation the better sometimes.

3. C is for Captain
Captain America and Captain Marvel. Did you know that according to the comics, technically speaking, Carol is higher in rank than Steve? Fun facts.
