This week's photo set was SUPER difficult to shoot. They just WOULD not cooperate and kept falling down, collapsing and just overall being uncooperative!!!! I think it was because there were 3 of them and the 'extra' guy wasn't wired so he kept being the problem.

Note to self: NEVER use a bjd that isn't wired in a reenactment photoshoot!!

Anyway, on to the photos!!!!

hehe... I know what you mean. My boys are always falling down, especially Abe. I just feel the need to shout "Timber!" and watch him go.

You need to use a really strong wire (not craft wire) but electrical wire that's stiff or it doesn't really help.. We get ours at Home Depot or Lowe's. If you'd need the size, I can check into it for you but it's the type you purchase by the foot in the electrical dept of hardware stores. It's really stiff. We make wings from it as well for cosplay costumes. ^^

And you have to strategically place it too or it doesn't make much difference. It has to go well into the torso for the arms to really 'work' and down into the wrist.

Same with the legs---the wire has to come up well into the hips joints and well past the knees for any type of stability.

Well i used the right kind of write and it's like 14 gauge or something, but i only did her legs and not even well because her torso is kind of sealed off except around where th e string goes (I'll post a pic later i guess) but her and aren't possible to do cause the elbow joint hole is so small the elastic.doesnt even actually fit =/
