My nieces bought me MH Skellita while they were buying MH and Liv dolls on Amazon tonight with gift cards, or so I am told. Email says they got her for like $12.99 too! I just checked an she's $19.99 now so I guess they just got lucky? I've been watching her very closely and I've never ever seen her for that! But I am very happy because I really like her and wanted her a lot. She's going to be a sister to my Skully. Been looking around here too, but I haven't seen her. Scaris dolls are scarce here. They got the werecats and a Spectra and an Operetta.

Was looking for some pleather for a project at the thrift store and found a doll carrying case for el cheapo. I have one already so this will go on sale here or on ebay if no one is interested. Also found the pleather I needed in the form of a nice big tote bag that I have sliced apart, giving me 4 pieces of about 12" x 9". First up will be some spats for my new Steampunk boy who is due to arrive tomorrow. And not a purchase, but a neighbor was tossing out an old bathroom over-the-john shelf so I snagged it, cleaned it up (with bleach!) and am working on organizing my craft/computer room a bit more.

Elrana's main outfit has more or less come together - It's just a shame I don't have her up here to see if it all fits. It cetainly fits Nyta, so if it doesn't it wont be the end of the world, but it's really not Nyta's style. There's still a couple of accessories left to get to complete the outfit, it's obviously lacking something

I bought a tan Volks body from Lamia of the Dark here. It arrived yesterday. For some reason I thought it was 25cm, but it was 21, so it didn't work for Denia (I'm actually considering a Liv Dolls light-tone Alexis or Daniella for her now).

But, it turned out to be absolutely perfect for Digit. I hadn't even started looking for a body for her yet, but the tone and everything is a match. Not even the 'slightly too pinkish' when I held the Volks body next to a Barbie - the exact same color.

The head came off an unidentified doll, within millimeters of the same height, that just says Kid Kore 1992 China on the back, with all the poseability of an old 'brick' barbie. It's as if the new body was made for her.

She still has factory faceup, which I plan to do some paint-over and work on, but not a complete wipe. And she has stubble from removing a ruined mass of tangled hair that I couldn't get a comb through no matter how hard I tried. But she's now over with my Projects In Progress instead of in the Floating Body Parts Bin. XD
