I hadn't even realised I wanted one of those - I was originally thinking about a Puki Pukisha!

Well, I finally have that Fashionista Ryan coming... and some RIT dye in cocoa. And already have the LIV body I plan to use. Said Fashionista will be decapitated almost on arrival, I expect, so I can check to see if it's true that the male Fashonista heads will fit a LIV male body. Then I'll just have to get the rest of the supplies for a light dye job...

I never really get my chosen dollies as single orders. Always as bits at a time... XD

After buying that Ellowyne Wilde full set and turning around and selling it for a nice profit, I have now bought a Tonner Nu Mood Sydney. She's the version that can wear size 5/6 wigs. I was originally thinking about getting a Delilah Noir but after hitting a few brick walls in the process, I decided to take that as a sign. I think (hope) I will be happy with my Sydney. She should be here a a few days.

My 65cm DZ body arrived today (part 1/2 of this order) - it's in PS, so I tried my Simply Divine Alec head on it purely for a sense of proportion... Yeah it didn't look too bad at all, the pink is a lot less pink than I remember DZ pink being... It somehow merely looks a bit paler than the head (Despite the head being a beigey yellowy colour)

Nick Rush may have just stolen Jerome's body from under him! We'll see when I actually manage to get all of my doll stuff together in the same building I'll be able to check everything, and do head swaps and stuff.

But having the 65cm body here, I really suspect it'll be the super-pink Sabik head that I'm going to have real issues with rather than the notoriously hard to match Simply Divine, since it looks acceptable to my eyes - a bit like a tan line rather than the really odd mismatch I was expecting!

But darn! He suits the 65cm range perfectly - and he's of a height with Nyta on this body, who is herself significantly shorter than Havelock and the big 70cm dolls (so hooray my attempt at relative heights is working! I just need to work out if he gets to keep it or if he's merely keeping it warm for Jerome...)

Also this body is really lovely - the balance and the joints really feel right

Edit: Well that's torn it - just plunked him down, and 1) he stands, no balancing required, or handy walls - he just stands there, looking incredibly grumpy! 2) He can hold all sorts of poses with those brilliantly done elbow joints - including the incredibly Rush-like massaging neck with one arm whilst crossing the other arm protectively in front of himself... Yeah this is Rush's body, colour match or no!

(I may get this body again in YS for Rush, and give this one to Jerome, but I'll have to see what DZ yellow looks like next to his head)

I just bought a Delilah Noir Lady Onyx full set from Ebay at a great price. She's in Canada so it could take up to 2 weeks for her to arrive, but I have had stuff show up in less than a week, so we'll see. I'm thinking about having her face repainted - not a fan of blue lipstick. It makes her look like Mrs. Freeze.

Ok... Now that I've actually got the time to play with the new guy... Yeah this is definitely Nicholas Rush's body, as SetsunaKou mentioned it just has an attitude to it's whole posture; which is so incredibly defensive and arrogant and incredibly Rush. So resin-match or no I think my Simply Divine Alec is permanently getting the DZ65 body. Heh.

God knows what Jerome will end up on; it needs to be short/of a height with Rush but definitely without this attitude. (And of course incredibly pink... sigh Soom what were you thinking???)

Seriosuly the DZ65s default standing pose just looks confrontational! Rush is just standing in the middle of my flat completely unassisted (seriously 1st bjd to do this without some serious balance work or a handy wall... I can literally just plonk him straight down and he'll stay like that! I think my other dolls have all either been too tall or not v.well balanced) and looking cross.

The only downside (apart from resin-matching or lack thereof) is the range of motion I'm getting out of his head - he keeps leaning sideways of his own volition (Which actually is incredibly like the character but still I'd like to be able to achieve other poses

And my two Dollshe heads have shipped! Eek! That brings the floating head count up by two (just as I'd given two other floating heads bodies...)

Seriously, I'd love to see pics of that head-body combo. I've got an Alec planned (not this year, but he will happen) and from the way you described the body, I might take a leaf out of your book if you don't mind.

Congrats on the shipping notice! My Bernard head is taking his sweet time, I guess he's banking on having a fully clothed body waiting for him when he does make it home. @.@

Will do! ...As soon as I tidy up my flat/single room... (It currently looks even more like a pigsty than usual after a whole week of all nighters and disseration work)

I should have thought of this body sooner; after all it's measurements are pretty similar to the SG body the head is designed for!

Thanks - teehee! Well your Bernard will be in a better state than my pair. I'm thinking the older Doll Chateau 70cm for the Saint, but I don't have a clue what to go for for the Van. And this will probably be several months down the line. I think I've more than blown my doll-budget for this year already...

Well, my Bernard is only one ... your guys have more competition Well, I do have my little Luts floater, but she's got a Miro body on the way now too, I was holding out for them to release the small busted version. At least she can share clothes with the other girls for the time being ... what with post-grad my dolly time has been cut back to almost nothing. (The girls are not amused.)
Remind me again, who will the Van be? I remember your concept for the Saint (Doll Chateau sounds perfect for him, can't wait to see!), but not the Van ^^°
