This is beautiful! At first I didn't have a clue what doll (or even scale) it was, but snooping back in the board, you had ordered a Mirodoll with the Wind and #4 heads. I have a Wind myself (who hasn't seen much love yet because the large scale limits the possibilities of where I can keep her). But mine doesn't really look like this so much. Is this the #4 head or the Wind head? Custom faceup?

(And the wig is actually quite good, from what I can see. Wigs are another reason I haven't worked/played with my SDs much... out of eight wigs, only one of them fits well and looks good.)

UPDATE: And, argh, I actually clicked through to the flickr page and I see it is the Wind, with your own faceup. Questions answered.)

Actually it turns out the Wind head and the #4 head are the same head! I guess I disliked the default faceup so much that I didn't even recognize it in the pictures of the full doll. Mirodoll doesn't have very good pictures on their site...

The wig turned out better than I expected, but the bangs are really wonky (the clips are holding the sides down from sticking straight up) and the top is quite obviously sewn together if you look at it up close XD I made it by taking apart a dollar store kids halloween wig and sewing it to the toe of a sock...

Her real wig was supposed to come today in a package with some accessories I ordered... but in the package, tshirt, belt, socks... hair comb... but no hair >.< I've emailed the company, but I might just have to go wig shopping again...

Edited to add: I forgot to say, I did sand her nose down a little bit before doing the faceup, it really makes more difference to her appearance in profile than it does face-on though.
