How to do a needle and thread reroot

Took new pics on how to do this. If you have a bald doll to begin with all you would need to do is poke a hole first. You need a long "doll needle", quality thread, and the hair. A thimble wouldn't hurt.


Push the needle through eye first.


Thread the needle and pull out through the scalp.


Poke the needle back through but leave a thread loop.


Thread the hair through the thread loop, fold the hair in half and make the ends even.


You should hold on to the ends of the hair as you pull the thread through the neck.

This is great, but could you get a picture of how you do that knot? I am confused at that point. I really appreciate your tutorials, thank you!!

Thanks for pointing that out, I derped on a square not, not the correct term, fixed the instructions. After feeding the hair through the thread loop you would make the ends even and hold on to them while pulling on the thread to pull the hair through.
