Audrey Hepburn OOAK dolls

Postby Lulemee » Wed Oct 23, 2013 6:02 am

Audrey Hepbrun is one of the most beautiful woman in the world, from inside and outside. The following dolls are my tribute to this exceptional actress. All dolls have a full face repaint and a custom hairstyle.

What a doll! (bad pun intended)

I have a 1/4 Madame Alexander doll of her. She's more of a styled look.
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.

One of these days I'm going to turn a Madame Alexander Alex into her. Most of my Hollywood ladies are 16" dolls. The Barbies of her are cute but they've never really appealed to me because of their size. I'd love an Audrey Hepburn but I'd rather have a bigger one. I kind of like the MA Funny Face doll, consider it the closest to Audrey but it's not spot on. None of those MA dolls were. I think they actually licensed the movie characters and not Audrey's real face unlike Mattel. You'd have to OOAK it to go there really and it's not an inexpensive doll to buy unfortunately. Probably I'll just settle for using one of the floating Alex heads I have. I do have one with brunette hair and a wiped face somewhere that I've kind of designated for an Audrey project at some point.
