That's such a lovely thing to say. Thank you. My friend Carrie, aka Tinybear made her a special wig. I love the colour.

Looking at this again now that I'm doing something with my Blythe. I like the ribbon idea for the strings and a bead for the charm, got lots of those. For now she'll just have the default eyes, but I'm already thinking of swapping out the orange ones, hopefully I can find something local to use for a clear chip to paint. I found a white wig with streaks of pink, blue, and yellow I feel will be easy to deal with until I decide of I want to keep her or what.

Did you give her sleep eyes or did she come that way and does acrylic paint work for the lids?

She is really gorgeous. Normally, I don't like Blythes at all (their round eyes creep me out; I'm more of a Pullip fan), but you did a fantastic job on this one. I love those colors, and her eyes are amazing.

(And can I just say I love that gorgeous pics of the orchids, as well?)

DollyKim, send me a pm with your address and I'll send you a set of clear Coolcat chips that you paint yourself or put a fabric or paper behind. They'd be perfect for what you want. Sleep eyes are very easy. Just remove the spring, add a pullstring and put it through the square holes in the back of the head, add a charm or beads and voila! all done. Just keep the knot on the same side as the other string. Orchid arrived with hers already done. I look forward to seeing the transformation. Acrylic is fine. That's what I used and sealed with matte acrylic varnish, but the face was sand matted and then sprayed with MSC.

Thanks Stormlight. I borrowed the pics of the orchids. I've only ever seen them here once and that was in London on a weekend away. Beautiful flowers.

Thanks! PM away! Looks like I might go forward with the Quadrophrenic Blythe idea where each eye color is a different personality. ~definitely sees a pattern book in the future~
