Or any other nefarious deed you might think of. O_o

Will coating the black rubber washer can help to prevent staining? If so, maybe I will consider this is l really can't find the white/ transparent one, since finding the coating can is a lot easier, especially for the plier.

Although I wonder if it can be used for rubber.

I don't think the pigments embedded in a rubber washer would really leach out at all, though I'm not certain.

I'm still not sure about staining so this will be an optional plan later.

Can anyone tell me how much is the weight for the Mirodoll 60cm girl (body only without head) ?

Will it make my arm feel numb if I carry her everywhere for one hour or more?

Also, how long can a resin BJD last? Will it still be the same in 10 years (except skin color) if I always play with mine carefully? I hope that it can last as long as it can be because the doll I'm going to have will share some of my personalities and my favorite characteristic and growing old with me (changing style, backstory and age, etc).

i don't have a scale that's very accurate, so i can't answer the first one (i would guess 5lbs+ or so, just going by how much my cats weigh)
it does get tiring lugging them around in arms all day, if nothing else from having to keep your arms holding the same position for hours lol. i usually sit mine down in my purse so they're sticking out, or put them in a side-sling like a toddler.
i've been tempted to rucksack them before but i'm worried a wig would get lost somewhere.
i could try it with the obitsu-headed doll i guess, since her wig is held on by pins (yeah i know, i'm evil)

According to their web site, she weight 1800g or approx. 4 lbs.

I'd be really tempted to get the 60cm boy body it it matched Volks or Delf normal skin - and wasn't so broad!

Well, in the website it is written as shipping weigh. So maybe it going to be around 1500g? Still too heavy though....

Do you put other item like phone or wallet in the purse? I afraid that something may scratch the body since I have a lot of item to place in purse and I like moving a lot and walk fast.
What do you mean by her wig held by pins? Is the pin thrust through the head cap?? :o

yes. but i'm very rough and tumble with my toys, and tend to not care about scratches (though it hasn't happened yet). i do wrap a scarf or make sure they have pants on if it's going to be several hours of it.

and yes, because her headcap is pretty thin and flexible, it's easy enough to get a pin through. she has 3 in a triangle shape to keep her wig on. again, i don't care about damaging her, that head is already trashed.

I'm thinking to wrap them in a big fabric to avoid scratches but I seems can't find a big enough shoulder bag to carry mine. Maybe I should have buy the 1/4 scale for my first BJD but Mirodoll 1/4 girl body hand is too much for me to comprehend.

But isn't a wig cap can help the wig to not slide off from the head? Or maybe the head is too slippery that even a wig cap can't attach very well? I don't think I want to damaging my first doll head :?
