Curses Mattel, you took my wallet again! Did I say limp wristed Ken and how the head swapping Barbie works? Yes, I got the pink one. http://dolfielittles.typepad.com/blog/2 ... y-for.html

You can still pop the head of a Swappin' Styles doll and put any head you could put on a Barbie neck on to it. No waist joint on the Swappin' Styles, it's like the belly body with a bra on.

don't feel bad about your monster high prices they are $32 for the singles here at the local toy chains.

if it is $50 in the states it's basically $100 here that is true for most items.

Hmmm to bad they had to put underwear on him. Does he have jointed feet and where did you find him?

D: Damnit, now I need one for my Luke doll. How does the neck compare to an older tilt neck Ken opposed to an Edward neck?

Looks like the same older neck as everyone else, I thought it was a 1999 until I got him home. He's a smidge smaller than the 1999 too.

I was at a Big Lots over the weekend.

Power Team was there in two lines - a SWAT Team and what looked like firefighters or other rescue crews. The SWAT Team guy I got has gloves for hands, which I want to change. The back of the box says "New Super Articulated Body, With Over 30 Articulated Points." Does anyone know if that means his hands would be different from those of the guys in the other line? All the SWAT guys have the gloved hands.

The SWAT Team claims to have a "light and sound" van, helicopter, ATV, and motorbike. And the guys come very well armed.

Also, they had Barbie Fashion Fever accessory packs. Which have to be at least three or four years old. I got a green hat, green scarf, and purse; and a sort of gilded denim hat with a scarf and purse. The hats were taped onto little headforms (and the tape was reallllllllly old!). The round plastic cases were very dusty, unsurprisingly.

... Cutie? Heh.

Seriously, though, I'm really excited to see that! I haven't heard a thing about him. Sucks that he doesn't have a waist joint. I wonder if I could transplant the arms/legs onto the 1999 torso.

Gaah, I wish there was a Big Lots remotely near here. I have 3 dolls sharing the glove hands from the one I found at the thift store.

By the way, I know everyone just said that they were over Monster High, but the new ones that were supposedly dated for next year, Holt Hyde and Ghoulia, have been popping up in K-Marts (I miss our K-mart) and Justice stores (whatever those are) around the US.
Where did all these 1/6s come from?!

I miss K-Mart so much. Our Super Wally World just opened today, but the toy department is supposedly going to be no bigger than it was at the old store. Ugh.
I still want Monster High, very much, especially with Ghoulia coming out-she's adorable!

Love the new Fashionista boys, and the new Shaving Ken looks really cute too.

The Power Team Elite and SWAT are the same figures I have on my site http://dolfielittles.com/mc.html If anything they changed outfits on the soldiers so you have to look at the faces to figure out which one is Anderson Cooper. They can switch hands with each other and they can fit hands for Dragon figures. They're great, their stuff is great (jack hammer, dynamite, handcuffs, sledge hammer, and this is the only time of year to find them so get them while you can.

The Designer's Choice girl clothes should show up too, they fit the Obitsu and Volks girls.

On the Ken with wrist's neck- it pivots but the neck is as fat as the other Kens. I haven't taken the head off. Looks like the hole in the head is female but the neck on it is longer than Edward's.
