Oh my goodness!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, K2-sama!! :hugs: You're so kind and extremely generous! Today, I just received from K2-sama, a framed, matted huge canvas of the 'Sleeping Beauty Expert' proclamation! I couldn't believe my eyes when we opened the huge box! I still can't believe it! It's sooo much---too much---and so amazingly amazing of you to do! THANK YOU! You're all so much more kind than I deserve and I can't express my gratitude enough!

My sister wanted to take a few photos of me holding it (including putting my Aurora cosplay tiara on my head!) and I wanted to share it with you since receiving this plaque really made my day----no, my month! It really took my mind off my shoulder/arm and I can't thank you all enough for your thoughtfulness!

There is so much Sleeping Beauty merchandise coming out this year in celebration of the Diamond Edition release! I'm so excited for you!

I really like the upcoming Classic collection Aurora! She looks lovely, I have Ariel from the collection and she is so beautiful!


Will you be getting the Aurora dolls from the upcoming Maleficent film?

I saw the Signature Collection previews and I *think* she might have a new facemold but again, she might be the same as most recent Aurora facemold I bought last year.
Once I see more owner photos or at least closeups of her face, I'll see if I'll be getting her or not. ^^

As for the "Maleficent" dolls, I don't think so. I really dislike the film's premise----that Maleficent wasn't really evil, just misunderstood! Argh! What the heck?!? Even she said herself that she is the 'Mistress of all evil!' Plus, how could they make poor King Stefan a villain?!?! And Phillip's kiss didn't wake Aurora from her sleep?! But Maleficent's did?!
What garbage is this that they re-imagined from the classic.

So, while I, at first, thought I'd get the Aurora dolls from the film line, after reading about it and seeing all that nonsense, I decided I want nothing to do with that film. It is NOT Sleeping Beauty in any sense. Unbelievable that they massacred one of their most beloved masterpiece fairy tales! And, I really don't think the actress they chose to be Aurora looks anything like the princess! She looks like a pixie--she should be Tinkerbell or something. But Aurora is much more elegant and mature---she's actually the most adult looking of all the princesses, so a pixie like actress isn't going to work.

The movie just failed on all levels for me.

I love the DS Briar Rose deluxe singing doll. I also think the Signature doll is quite pretty (though I'm in the minority lol) but she doesn't really look much like Aurora.

I went to the Disney Store today and spotted the Sleeping Beauty doll set. It comes with Aurora(in blue dress), Maleficent, Prince Phillip, the fairies, Phillip's horse and an extra pink dress for Aurora.

I just ordered the Animator's Collection Aurora set from the Disney Store online yesterday. It was on sale from 59.95 down to 24.99 and now it's sold out.
