She's going to be a tree/ent person, her name is Berkana.

I can't find a tree-like body for her I like enough, so I'm probably gonna end up modding an AoD body. I think it'll be a fun first serious mod though.

Still waiting on my PKF Mio. She was supposed to be delivered today, but USPS tracking hasn't updated since yesterday and it still shows in NH...... where is my doll?!

~pats Kirah~ If it makes you feel any better, my girlfriend's DoD Luke (not the tan Ducan that was such a trial; her Luke is legit), got lost in the mail in Ohio for a whole week, right around Christmas. But he did eventually turn up. I personally think he did it on purpose to make her sweat.

Me, I'm waiting for a ship notice from Immortality of Soul for my Cho. Gah so anxious. And ResinSoul is shipping my Seng with assorted extra parts ordered for a few friends on March 14th, so I will have two dollies with arrivals less than a month apart.

Well, at least she's showing as in Atlanta now. But, with past experience that means it's hit or miss whether she'll be here today or tomorrow unless the tracking updates again soon. I just get antsy because of the Switch head theft before Christmas and insist on being at home when something is being delivered now.

Unless it's a guaranteed service (and even Priority Mail isn't a guaranteed service), sometimes the dates are a little off. It can be rattling, but I try to give it a couple of days before I start worrying. I'm sorry to hear that there was a theft, though. Hope she arrives safe and sound!

For me, nothing I've experienced with USPS has been as bad as my last DHL experience though. *evil stare @ DHL* I was really busy at the time (a lot of family stuff going down) and forgot about the package after I got the shipping confirmation. It was just a spare Miro body, so I wasn't jumping up and down over it. I then realized that it was a week or two late for DHL... and when I looked, they'd marked the doll as delivered! When I contacted them, it turned out that the delivery person couldn't find my house... and yet they marked it as delivered and signed for. Been leery of DHL ever since. -_-

As for me, uwah... *falls over*

I finally made my decision. I laid away a Dollzone Special Wendy, Special Dale, and Miss Kitty (plus a blank Special Wendy for the free event doll) from Denver Doll. I wanted to do it on Mint on Card initially, but I forgot that they were doing a stop sale at 4 PM yesterday (glad I checked DD though, I thought I was gonna have to pay $25 paypal fees + $30 or $40 in EMS shipping on ACBJD)!

It's money I really planned to spend on an SD (and probably not quite so much of it even then), but I fell in love with those event dolls. First I was gonna just buy one or both of them so I didn't have to go up to the event amount, but I figured, hey. I've wanted Miss Kitty for a while... Dale and Wendy are limited, so I can't get them later... and it's kind of a shame not to get a really cool-looking free doll when you can. (That's how they get you. ) The spare will go live with my boyfriend because I am compelled to spoil him. It's a sickness. Lovesickness.

Dale and Wendy were just so pretty though... FINS! I had to do it. And recently I've gotten it into my head to eventually assemble a whole cat-family of Dearmine and Pipos et al... so Miss Kitty will be the first. xD

My wife ordered my first doll on Thursday [MiroDoll's Wind, to be named Juliet] and I'm so impatient. I don't know how quickly MiroDoll ships [I've heard they ship quickly]. I already asked the wife that if hers come in first can I use her measurements to finish some of the clothes i'm making? [tearing apart some skirts to make new skirts, Including zippers]

Do you have a specific character in mind for your Wind, or is she going to be more versatile? (not saying that a specific character can't be versatile, of course )
