That's good to hear. You may have had a transient infection. Yes, the gallbladder diet is very boring, and includes next to no fat. You *might* want to try papaya pills to see if that helps.

Finally, some good news! My husband spent the day in hospital having tests done, and it turns out he doesn't need his gall bladder removed, he has no gall stones, just acute gastritis. Which is dealt with by medication alone, so he's back home! I'm so relieved!

That sounds great, Charlotte. I was a little worried I might have to have mine taken out. Still awaiting yet more lab results so eeeh, we'll see.

I'll have to look into these papaya pills. A fat-free diet sounds worse than surgery! hehe

Well, small rejoice but a rejoice nonetheless! I managed to snag a full guy-skin Volks doll between Setsuna and another vendor on Ebay! Also managed to find people willing to sell Isul and Taeyang clothing without said dolls which saves me something like $400 and months of sobbing into my pillow over such idiotic purchases...so...yay?

Personal victory:

I've complained off and on about the leak in my ceiling on here. I had to take a survey about our rental and I put the problem in the comments. I got a kind of bitchy response back from our office manager (who gave my roommate some major attitude on the phone when we finally got on the phone with her about a month and a half ago) telling me "It will be fixed once there is a solid week of nights that don't get below 45F. Considering this is Massachusetts that may not happen until the end of June.

See, the complex I live in has an abundance of Indian and Brazilian immigrants because it's cheap but a decent commute for people who work in Worcester or Boston. So she's very used to putting up with people whose second language is English and she's very used to talking down to them. There have been a ton of posters put up in our building (and I'm sure others) with an email address on them to gather reports about her behavior towards residence. Unluckily for her I'm a high school English teacher and write to earn some extra money so I wrote a very concise, fairly objective, but complete email about the issue with dates. I even told her what the issue was (the maintenance manager has been trying to get this fixed for us but she won't give him clearance).

I also may have hit "reply all" instead of just "reply" so everything went to the other members of her team. I also may have BCC'd some people.

I sent this email a little before 1 PM this afternoon on my prep at work. I got a response back a little after 2 saying she had put in for a roofing company to fix the roof. By the time I got home at 3:30 the issue will be fixed on or before the 23rd of this month by a roofing company.

I know it's a small victory but this has been a problem for seven months.

a minor: I've been watching a Dal that has been at a local Tuesday Morning forever. I couldn't decide if I wanted to buy her or not, but decided that if she got to the lowest markdown price and no one else had grabbed her that I'd get her. She is currently one step away from the lowest price.

My mother knows I've been watching the price and decided to get her for me today as a late birthday present! So, my mind has been made up for me! I'm kind of excited because I've never had anything in the Pullip line before.

Sweet. I do love an "accidental" reply all.
