Aurora from the Disney Film Collection for Maleficent off of ebay. Didn't overpay by too much (about £10-£12 which is fairly good) so that was alright.

On a practical note? A new belt. Mostly to enhance a cosplay I'm doing, but it will likely get used for every day things because it's hard to find a decent belt, and this one is made of proper leather. It's very nice.

I bought a set of old-school curlers for my hair. As if I have time for that sort of thing!

A new matteress. It was an unexpected buy but expected in a sense. I knew I was going to get it; just didn't think it would be so soon.

New vans! ... As in the shoe type. Was in desperate need of a new pair, and they're one of the few brand of shoes that I found that it's worth paying the money for because they last a good while.

... Wow, I'm on this page a lot lately >< It has all been needed buys though!

I recently bought some food props for my tiny trio off of Etsy and got them all new shoes. For my mini girls, I got a lucky pack from DorsetClothing.

O.o Oh gods so much money gone in one fell swoop...

Preface: It's been a busy week - visited 2 sets of friends I'd not seen for months. 1 load in Kent, the other in my old Uni city. By a bizarre coincidence met Paul McGann during both visits. The Kent visit included a planned trip to a comic convention, Paul McGann was there. I met him, it was aweseome. He signed my super-collectable graphic novel and a few CDs. (He's now more popular than ever after Night of the Doctor, adorable toddlers running around dressed in miniature accurate representations of both his Night of the Doctor outfit and the 6th Doctor's outfit.)

The coincidental bit? McGann was also visiting my old Uni this week, didn't know until I was there. So saw him twice in 5 days. He's a lovely lovely human being. Seemed genuinely delighted that he'd acquired a stalker... One of the rare cases where the phrase "don't meet your heroes" is utter sh*te. He increased my love of him by expressing the opinion that they'd "missed a trick" by not casting a woman this time around - not that he thinks Capaldi wont be awesome, just that the time is right.

Anyhow the buy: I decided on the basis of this to buy a few more of the Big Finish audio dramas, I'd always meant to gradually own all of the 8th Doctor ones. Since 8 is My Doctor he's the one I've focussed my Who collection on, I've long since completed my set of the novels and the comics (thank gods I did this all way before Night of the Doctor happened - the prices have shot up recently because of those 6 minutes, attempting to buy a few choice novels for a friend who's gotten into him recently was a nightmare) ...Anyhow discovered that they've discontinued a load of them. And panic bought Lots and Lots of CDs. SO MANY CDS. My collection has gone from the odd CD here and there to LOTS. Most of the range is now mine.

(Think I'm gonna finish selling off the 1/6 dolls I own purely becuase they're "nice" - I have no nerdly motive for owning these ones, other then they're kinda nice things and I'm going to need the shelf space and the cash...)

Vetinari I just have to pop in to say that your week sounds positively delightful!

Also, glad to know I'm not the only person who has collected "nice" things that they need to get rid of!!! *Eyeballing her Black Jack doll so hard right now*

My Rini is getting some clothes and another pair of shoes for the month of July. I try to buy something once a month for my girls.
