Gettin' a DREAM DOLL!

Ok, we all have that doll that haunts our dreams and makes us weep for our empty pockets. For some it's a volks, for some it's an Elfdoll and then there are people like me with much lower goals

Basically ever since I saw the B&G Aurora I've loved that sculpt. Don't know if it's the eyes or the entire facial shape or what, but I've just adored her and wanted one. Since Emory hadn't stocked any i've been looking on DoA for a second-hand one and it looks like today I'm closing a deal on one at last!!!!

She's a customized Aurora in that someone gave her cute elf ears. The photo is a bit blurry of the ears, but they look well done - and she definitely has a great faceup! I even get to make payments which very much makes me a happy Greyhaunt! So HURRAY - in a few months I'll have my dream B&G Aurora!!!

Actually I saw one on Ebay the other day. I would have preferred to buy her from Emory - but at least I'm getting her

My 2 dream dolls were not js dolls and i really could never afford either, my budget is more along the lines of bobobie/rs and tinies.
This is my evil plan to come close to my dream dolls as i will get but it is close enough for me
1.Wysteria (ok i know it's elfdoll june, but that faceup and skin tone to me were breathtaking)
I practiced the faceup, and plan to get a June head one day and paint her myself.
2. Shadow Onyx (never gonna happen) she is just soft and delicate i adore her
I plan to substitute resinsoul Lan, in gray to make a small msd "Shadow" by painting her and making clothes as
well as buying a monique paris wig in black.

Currently my dream doll is DollZone Celine. I think she's beautiful beyond words, but even at Emory's price, she's way out of my league.

My dream doll is *sigh* DS Bermann. Predictable, I know. And I've tried to talk myself out of it any number of times ie '...you'd have to sell your kidney to afford one...he's not even double jointed...' But that face sculpt absolutely haunts me and has since I started into BJD.

I'm the same, too. There's no doll I wanted more than a Lotus Near, and I was devastated when she said she wasn't making more of them. D=
