Thrift stores! Look for awesome older real wood furniture. It is often underpriced!

I bought a Frankensweater coat. It's amazing! Actually, it is technically a trade. I need to send her a doll! (yep, new coat and enabling!) Frankensweater makes these awesome sweater coats out of recycled sweaters. The one I am getting is based on Nuala from Hellboy 2. I have been lusting after it on the website. Plus a Monster High Sirena von Boo!

Through the power of friendship! Yeah baby yeah! It's my bag. (I've seen Austin Powers recently and now I must parrot the movie until I annoy everyone.) It's my happening and it's freaking me out. haha... that movie never gets old.

Evelien happened upon one at Think Pink. I had to pay in Euros and the conversion rates were not favorable, and the shipping is a bit high, but by golly I've got my Alice. Quite conceivably the only one left IN THE WORLD!!!!

I need sleep.

Edit: After a good night's sleep... HAHAHAHA... what's that!? I realized I forgot to reply to Zirc.

Yes! I've tried the Thrift route but unfortunately around here the only stuff that gets donated is so busted it's unusable. Or it's from the 70s. Ha. I'd probably have better luck in Atlanta. I'm really keen on the sleek lines of modern design. The only old stuff I have in my house is my heirloom piece. My grandparent's kitchen table. They bought it when they first married, before the war. And my china set. I'm really proud of my china. I finally have it displayed on my hutch. I'll post a picture! Yay!!

Edit: I took a picture! Weeee....

A cell phone wristlet thing to replace my wallet. It was surprisingly hard to find one that fit my model and then fit my style. No fancy sparkles, no goofy teenage boys, no Ponies or Hello Kitty.

I ended up with shiny black fake patent leather with glitter. I might be almost 40 but my purse doesn't have to show it.

Just ordered a Tonner new release, Trixie! She's an African-American Patsy-sized girl (10"), with the bending arm body. She's sporting a huge afro non-removable wig that I shall remove and look for something better because I think the proportions are way off. Wish I could find a super-short curly wig. Something similar to the way Lupita Nyong'o wears her hair. I think she's so attractive. I expect the doll to arrive next week sometime.

Also, a recent buy arrived yesterday...dvd set of an old tv show called Cimarron Strip with Stuart Whitman. I shipped him and Dulsey so hard LOL! (My heroes have always been cowboys. Ummmmm!) Just finished watching my Season 1 set of Kung Fu the Legend Continues too.
Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.

I snagged king Arthur and three of his knights(from monty python and the holy grail) for ten bucks. They are really fun even if Arthur is missing his pants.

You'll want to make sure any replacement pants fit Sideshow, they're bigger than the average 1/6 guy. I ended up turning my muddy Dead Collector in to the 12th Doctor.
