Amigurumi and polymer clay

Postby pigeonweed » Mon Jul 14, 2014 8:03 pm

Eep... I haven't been on the boards for a while.

I really love art dolls that make use of polymer clay and fur to create realistic looking creatures and I thought I'd try the same technique with amigurumi. The result are UGGLINGS!

Check out more photos of this guy over at my blog: http://www.nonaptime.com/2014/07/experiment-polymer-clay-with-soft-bodied-dolls/

I'm planning to make more of these guys but I want to replace the hands and feet with resin to cut the weight and so they aren't as fragile as their polymer clay counterpart.

This is so different and I like how it turned out. I also would like to see other little monsters done in this style.
