Saying hello from Dawson Creek!

Postby Ravenqueen » Tue Jul 29, 2014 8:47 pm

My name is Ravenqueen ,and I hail from the lovely little town of Dawson Creek, B.C ,Canada. I have quite a variety of dolls, ranging from one lone Ever after High Ravenqueen, Barbie, Fashion Royalty, Gene, Tyler, and three BJDs that dominate the collective. After losing over 90% of my doll collection in a house fire, I'm slowly going through the task of trying to replace some of the dolls I had lost..which is no easy task.I have been married for 14 years to my best friend, and we have three great kids, who share their parents love of toys. My hubby is an avid model builder, and historic wargamer, and we are both avid history buffs,as well as gamers; eg playing computer games.
During the times I'm not playing games, or dolls, I am sewing, drawing, watching movies with my family,or browsing the internet for ideas for drawings, or doll clothes; its great to find a place that includes all dolls, not just certain types.

Thank you for the warm welcome.. I'm hoping to get some pictures of my dolls in the next few days..even if it is with the phone, since it has a better resolution than my camera.

I had the 90's flashback too when I read the title :D

I'm so sorry about the house fire! I was always terrified of that happening when I had my expensive resin beauties. On another board, there is actually a woman with a collection valued in the $50,000 range, and I cringed when she said she had no sort of insurance on it. I would live in fear of every candle flame lol

Anyways, welcome to the board :) Hope to see you around.
