Liberace's wardrobe

They're too sexy for their clothing - but they have to wear them anyway! Did you buy it? Did you make it? Who cares - let'm strut their stuff here!

Liberace's wardrobe

This is his "At Least He's Not Naked" outfit to be worn while waiting for something even more fabulous to be made.

The keyboards are lined up, the collar and lining are black sparkles, the shirt is sheet music. Liberace is by Effanbee and awaiting a spa day to get his hair and face done.

Can't wait to see what his actual outfits will look like if this is just his placeholder outfit.

Thanks, I didn't even know I had the piano keys and was looking for the same music notes prints I have in black and white. He's laid claim to some Mardi Gras fabric but all I really have are cottons. I want to find something in pink and lavender to go with some trims I have.

Cute! I remember some of his glorious outfits. My mom liked to watch him on tv when I was young.

One of the few men able to pull this sort of thing off with style.

Thanks :)

The fireworks robe. I turned the white edge, I was going to cover it with trim but it wasn't long enough.

The last for awhile. We need to go out for trims and go through what beads I have to make things a bit more fabulous.

Reversible cape with some craft foam in the collar.

This suit is explosive!

I have decided against fancy fabrics, because his arms are only jointed at the shoulders he's tricky to dress and might stress some fabrics too much. If he was going to have one spectacular outfit he never changed that would be different but things didn't end up that way. He has inspired me to make something spectacular for some other dolls. Outside of more piano or music fabrics this looks like it's it for "Mardi Gras Liberace". I'll do his face when I can paint again.

*I fought Liberace and Liberace won. After giving this some rest I decided I might as well make him stuff out of the brocade as I did buy it for him in the first place.
