Pilot's new faceup

Postby FacelessPuppets » Sat Aug 09, 2014 2:24 pm

I was so afraid of redoing Pilot's faceup, but it turned out not to be as bad as I feared.

The eyebrows don't look identical at all, but this is the best I have done so far. I see improvement.

I think the eyebrows look fine. Good job!

Awwww. She is a cutie. She looks so cold you want to give her a hug to warm her up. Hehe. Nice job on the face-up.

Thanks everyone! I did make her outfit, but I napped her goggles from a Bratzilla :)

She does look cold with her pink nose and fluffy coat :) I think the eyebrows look pretty good personally. They actually have nice detailing, and look like real hair as opposed to just being drawn on.

She's ridiculously cute :) And the eyebrows look fine - they may not be completely identical (*), but they look right - they look real, natural and like voodoolie said, like real hair.

(* It's certainly not something that jumps out at you when you look at the pics, even knowing you think they aren't identical at all. )

Does she have a sunburn on her nose and cheeks?
I have so many dolls that I can't fit all their names in my signature anymore. @__@

It's actually windburn, because she flies an open top biplane and her goggles don't cover her cheeks and nose, which are prone to redness anyway. It's a side effect of flying that she embraces.

And thanks everyone for reassuring me on the eyebrows, I wasn't sure before but now I'm thinking they're gonna stay :)
