First Ever DS Sew-Along!

They're too sexy for their clothing - but they have to wear them anyway! Did you buy it? Did you make it? Who cares - let'm strut their stuff here!

That shorter one on the left I like. It seems to be able to double as a non-Halloween dress as well.

Keinaqueen, that dress is so cool I think I'd immediately buy one for myself, if it was person sized *_*

I sewn an Halloween sweater for Dahlia, but it's already finished so I will post here my next project. Uliat needs some non-casual clothing and giving I just got a katana for him I decided to start from something inspired to Kyuzo (Samurai Seven) outfit:

I have a lot of dark red imitation suede and I plan using black faux leather for the contrasting parts and black lycra for the undergarments. I will not probably add the black stripe in the middle of the coat (it seems pointless to me).

Kirahfaye - no worries, i haven't exactly been speeding along on my project either :) This is a no pressure sew - along so whenever you are ready is fine!

That said, all these finished projects are making me feel ashamed- I need to finish resizing my pattern!

Everyone's ideas and projects are coming along great! I, however, am very slow getting on with it. I have started sewing, so hope that soon there will something to show.

Thanks everyone. Now I have to take off the Halloween stuff and go back to sewing 2 more 'fall' dresses!

MitisFeles, nice outfit idea! The coat will be spectacular, but yeah, that black strip could be dropped without changing the look very much.

Iwa_Hoshi, adorable dress! Love the color especially and the top is beautifully fitted.
Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.

Thanks I fell in like with the cloth when I saw it online. Had to cinch the top part of the bodice since it was kinda loose uncinch and when her hubby is standing next to her or even behind her, it makes him look as if he's distracted and staring down her dress...

Granted this version is no less distracting...

Uncinch and cinched. Kinda pull down and rolled it inwards to get that effect before stitching it.

My project is so slow and protracted I haven't even posted the proposal yet.

kenaiqueen, love your girls' Halloween dresses!

Iwa_Hoshi, that dress is very elegant!

MitisFeles, that outfit will look stunning! I agree it doesn't need that extra black stripe.
