Doll Family (Company)

Postby clorista » Fri Feb 06, 2015 10:10 am

Hi Everyone! I couldn't find one in the 1/3 section so I made a thread to talk about those beautiful Doll Family dolls (A and H) I found this company while wandering about looking for a sculpt for my first doll and have been coming back to them ever since. I shall now start the thread with a very old image of my beautiful Linfeng Grigoriy.Image

I recently got one of the Doll Family H 3 part torso 65cm bodies for my Cain head, and I gotta say, totally thrilled with him. The mobility is AMAZING. Boy can do a full curl-up-draw-his-knees-to-his-chest fetal position. Which is not something I can say for any other body that I have that hasn't had the dremel taken to the torso joints. I really should get some pictures of him. Grigory is beautiful. And so is your group, Nella. :D

AAH... the A and H. NOW I remember the name. Yes, there was a sculpt I saw on Alice's Collections ages ago and had really liked it. I can't remember which one it is, now. I can go look and see.

*intermission*

I'm back. Whew, I bet you guys were on the edges of your seats, right? XD It was DF-A's Yanji. I thought he looked like a young original-version Ivan from 1996. I love the full-set, too. Super gorgeous doll. The Ivan you guys know is the Version 2 vampire that evolved much later.

Looks like they have a fun variety of bodies, sizes, and such. I should look further into these dolls.

I'm glad you started a thread, Clorista.

PS. Looks like there's an event for Doll Family A. <3

Yay! For Doll Family love!

Nella love your An Ping. Which body did you have?

Trethowan I'm abusing the sale to add to my body count (haha) and get some of my floating heads off the shelf. Then because I can't help myself I am buying a Dawn head. So the floating head count remains the same. The head is for one of my hubby's characters though. I'm glad that you are discovering the dolls. They need all the love!

It's one that they don't sell anymore. It's the newer two-part torso for 60cm.

I don't mean to pick at this, but shouldn't there be two different threads for A and H since they are different companies? It might make searching by company easier for people looking for the specific companies.

Meh, on such a small forum I don't see how it would matter too much.
