Hunting for a teeny tiny wig

Postby ShortNCuddlyAm » Thu Jul 23, 2015 4:07 pm

Anyone know any sources of 2" doll wigs? The wig Tipula (a Dolkot Peya) was wearing is looking very much the worse for wear and I want to replace it, preferably without having to make one myself! I'd prefer not to get a Heidi Ott again, as that's what her current one was and it started getting quite scruffy and a bit worn-looking actually fairly quickly. But I'm not ruling them out completely.

I think that's going to be a real challenge :o

Are you veggie? Tinybear may be able to make a mohair one that size but obv not so good if you are veggie.

Otherwise maybe making a wig?? I made youtube vid for the quickest and easiest way to make wigs for teeny tinies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RCUK64FL8I

When I was searching for a wig for my BlissBJD tiny doll, I found this. I haven't bought from them yet, but it looks promising.

Thank you both!

@babytarragon - I'm not veggie, so I might contact Tinybear - I'd forgotten she did wigs!

I ended up getting a couple from Caroline of Illuminated Dolls - Iphigenia has about the same size head, and the shipping was cheaper than House of Caron (I think. Going on their example, the whole order from Illuminated Dolls was only a little more expensive than the shipping from House of Caron would have been). And they fit perfectly :)
