There were still extras at Jpop so I caved in and ordered her on the new SD body. I also bought clothes for her since most of my girl SD outfits are fantasy and Reagan here has a completely different style.

Just got back from Disney World, so I was doing a bit of doll buying there...

Found a lovely Kurhn doll (Winter Fairy) and added her to the collection. Also discover that the Mismatched Store in Downtown Disney (which is changing its name to Disney Springs) has Mismatched Dolls. So of course, the Rocker Girl came home with me. And one of the Attractionistas Dolls (Gracey, whose style is inspired by The Haunted Mansion).

Meanwhile, I just learned that my BBB Elfkins I ordered back in the summer are on their way, I am getting a couple of other BBB/RS 1/6th in a few days, and I even decided the time had come to have one of the MiM dolls (Paulette Goodreau's design for younger collectors), so that is supposedly on its way as well. Plus, I am waiting for my Mushroom Peddler Magic to ship.

To top that off, I have put a few dolls on layaway. I will finally be adding an Asleep Eidelon Cherry (boy) and an Impldoll Harley (tree boy) and a Aimerai Sabby (a tiny doll with a unicorn horn) to the collection.

Finally, a few years ago, I ordered the Scary Godmother (I got in on the Kickstarter and ordered the doll), and I understand that the creator is finally getting some stuff together (she has been very particular about making sure the new doll maker is living up to the standards she set when she started the kickstarter). I have seen pictures of the test models, and the final model should soon be in production.

Which just goes to show this is not a hobby for impatient people.

Picked up 2 of the newer Ever After High gang, Alistair Wonderland and Faybelle Thorne. Also got my new arms for Boo York Nefera. I think Alistair is the handsomest of the guys so far and I really like his simple outfit. Faybelle is beautiful! you can't really see it, but her skin is a pale pearlescent lavender color.

Had to wash Alistair's hair, it was so stiff! His jacket and tank top are all one piece which I don't love, but I can make him a new top sometime in the future.
Nefera's arms are not a perfect color match, but they look better in person than in this picture. The color difference is really hardly noticeable. And still better than those green things she came with.

I've been curbing my dollieh habit by buying legos instead. XD I just bought a large Ninjago set because the buildings reminded me of one of the temples I visited in Japan.

Last Legos I had were the sh*tty set from the 80s with a pine tree, doors, wheels, and not enough to build anything decent augmented with whatever I got in a Happy Meal I might be making payments on the new Classic Creative ones for awhile but the Architect Studio came home to help get Eloise over the disappointment of the crappy dollhouse. We're a bricks only house.

Oh my, I am spending WAYYYY too much on dolls but Disney is just not letting up this year. Other Disney collectors have called it 'Dollmageddon' because of how many LE doll releases they are churning out this year!! :cries:

Hopefully, they'll settle down a little bit next year. I mean, one or two LE sets are fine but to continuously release them nonstop is really hard on the wallet!

They released (3) 1/4 dolls in March (Regal Elsa, Casual Anna and Summer Kristoff) at $120 + tax each in March 2015. (And they actually cost more if you missed them and had to pay scalpers double or triple....which I did. XD I paid $250 for Elsa and $250 for Kristoff. We skipped Anna because of how hefty a price the other 2 commanded. We had even stayed up all night so as not to miss them but by the time Disney Store posted the link, they were sold out already by 'direct linked' scalpers!) ARGH!

Then, in May, Disney Store released all their 1/6 Prince dolls with 'designer' heads so again, there goes another $150!

In August, they held their D23 convention, which had 6 LE releases----one of which I desperately needed and so paid $460 for! (Hans x Elsa Coronation LE 1/6 Designer Set) The other 5 LE dolls I didn't want but for 'collectors' who are going after ALL the Disney LE dolls, it was rough! Slave Jasmine 1/4 is going for $750-900; Designer Minnie Mouse 1/4 LE doll is about $750-900 as well; Toy Story LE Woody & Buzz 1/4 dolls are about $100 each; Princess Leia 1/6 LE Doll is about $500+. This isn't even counting the rare 'tsum tsum' plushies that are so 'hot' right now and going in the $250-500 range! For tiny 3" plushies!

Then, in Sept/Oct, they released their 'Designer Fairytale' LE 1/6 doll sets, one per week.

Rapunzel & Gothel $140 (10/7)
Ariel & Ursula $140 (10/14)
Elsa & Hans $140 (10/28)(Thank goodness, this is the only one I want!)

Last week, they released 1/4 Aladdin, 1/4 Jasmine, 1/4 Jafar at $120 each plus tax, AND a Platinum Edition Wedding Aladdin/Jasmine 1/4 set that RETAILED for $750!!!! It's around $2000 right now on eBay.....(Thank goodness Aladdin/jasmine aren't my favorites, so I didn't buy any of these! Whew!)

Then, on Nov 3, they are releasing Frozen Fever 1/4 LE Elsa, Anna and a 1/6 Designer Fairytale Kristoff x Anna set!!! :faints:
I've decided to get Elsa and the Kristanna set, but skip poor 1/4 Anna (again!) since I made a custom of her already for my sister when we didn't get March's 'casual' Anna. I made her a Frozen Fever Anna, so....
The 1/4 dolls are $120 + tax each and the Kristanna set is $140, so, there's another $260 I'm in for!

Plus, there is a 'rumor' that a 1/4 Hans will be released on Nov 3 as well. So he's my dream doll, and if he's released, I will absolutely be so happy, but also so broke!! :laughs:

In addition to the 'designer' LE dolls, they also released a Deluxe Frozen Fever 1/6 set for $100 which I bought, the Mattel "Signature" Collection Elsa & Anna, Mattel "Frozen Fever" dolls and Mattel "Coronation" dolls, plus a new Mattel 'Summer Kristoff', and tons of sketchbook ornaments including a $60 Frozen Fever set (which I also bought.)

:sighs: I think Disney is going really REALLY gung ho this year.....

And I'm taking the bait because I love Disney Princess movies/dolls toooo much!!!
