Deanna Durbin & Robert Cummings Tonners from 'Spring Parade'

Whhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

I'm so excited! My sister saw my Deanna Durbin Tonner doll had been clothes-less and as a birthday surprise, she made not only her gown from my favorite Durbin movie, "Spring Parade" but also a matching Robert Cummings doll!

In this film from 1940, they are 'Ilonka Tolnay' and 'Harry Loren', set in the 1890s and a real musical and fun period piece.

Anyway, she did SUCH a great job on their costumes!!! I was (and am) THRILLED!!! She and my father even made a custom glass curio case for them to reside in, with 'clouds' backdrop and all! (Their 'love song' from the film is entitled 'Waltzing in the Clouds' so it was really suited!)

On to the photos!
She did an amazing job, especially since she had only one color photograph to go by (The movie's in black and white)! :D
These are actual pictures from the film that she copied the outfits from:

And here are the Tonner doll versions:
