Moana 16" LE Doll Repaint

Postby SetsunaKou » Fri Jan 27, 2017 4:23 pm

Just finished repainting a customer's Moana 16″ LE doll for a commission---to have a softer, kinder expression, more like in the film look. Plus eyelashes. (Why didn’t Disney put lashes on this girl?! They ALWAYS put lashes on all their 16" LE dolls!)

The buyer also wanted her blouse and sash to be red so I overlaid them with a stretch mesh sheer in order to keep the lovely embroidery underneath to show.

I like her a lot better now. She looked mean before. And maybe a little manly?

Your makeover is much, much better. That stock photo is simply not flattering to the doll, also.

She came out really cute and yes, much more gentle looking. Kudos!

One of my favorite princesses! And yes, she looks much more sweet.
