Oh, wow! Your favorite nature documentary among all the nature documentaries in the photo-story section of the Dollieh Sanctuary forum? High praise, indeed!

Silly! I meant my favorite ever! No other nature documentaries have dolls/figures/toys in them...

But seriously, you have great talent for photography. And skills! This second part showed that even more that the first one. I'm immensely enjoying seeing your other-than-toy photography for the first time, and I'm astonished! All the animals pics are exquisite!!! ...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... !!! All the other pics are exquisite, too!!!

Good thing you included the very dead octopus and the faceplants, otherwise it would get so beautiful it would be unbearable

A remarkable number of faceplants and falls occurred, and were captured by the camera, during this and some of the following sequences.

Ouch! I can't laugh this much during a migraine fit! It makes my head hurt even more... Next time I need to stay patient and read this when my head isn't trying to explode...

Man, this was golden! I laughed out loud from start to finish. Ouch.

 I'm glad you found the episode amusing. Sorry about the pain-in-the-head thing, though. They say "laughter is the best medicine," but I guess that doesn't apply to migraines.

Most of the episodes aren't that snarky and sarcastic. Overcast skies and the ridiculous line at the Dole Whip stand definitely impacted the ultimate tone of the narrative.

Cute episode! Makes me crave shaved ice! Now that I think about it, shaved ice with colorful syrup might be the primary form of sustenance for jellyfish of neon genera...

Part of the photographic fun with "traveling toys" is trying to create a sense of the dollies being in scale with their surroundings as often as possible.

Jellyfish of the neon genera... like the Electric Jellyfish aka Vietcong Man o' Wars in the movie, The Life Aquatic!

One way to differentiate somebody from Hawaii from someone who is not is how whether they say "shaved ice" or "shave ice." In Hawaii, there is no "d" on the end. It is "shave ice."

Another educational episode! The birthday celebration was so cute!

And the cliffhanger ending with explosion! Now I'm all nervous if all the characters survived and the wait for next ep will be excruciating! Kidding, although the sparklers do look big and dangerous compared to the size of Pinky figures...

Great photography. I particularly liked the girls in front of the memorial, and the sparklers - low light photography is hard!

I suppose I should learn some Photoshop skillz, but I ain't got 'em so I use real fire and sparklers.

Yes, fire effects in the dark are challenging to photograph, so it's fun when they turn out more or less as intended.
