The distribution issues with MH always seems to be interesting - there's always tales of places where an otherwise rare character just seemed to be everywhere.

I love how to managed to make Spectra look like she was floating - it's really well done.

Considering the popularity of cats in general, and with the "cat girl" motif in anime and manga, I expected the Monster High cat characters, starting with the Werecat Twins and Toralei, to be insanely popular. Toralei was initially in high demand and hard to find, but the online reaction to the follow-up cat characters did not seem to be as enthusiastic as I would have expected. Catrine and Catty seemed to be in adequate supply and did not sell out quickly, with Catty continuing to show up sporadically well after her initial release.

Your Spectra portrait is haunting and etherial, as is appropriate, with an effectively conveyed "floating" effect.

Thank you!

As for MH werecats, my theory about them not being as popular as they could have been is that their characters didn't do much for most people - Toralei was the mean one, twins were Toralei's soulless minions, and Catrine and Catty were kind of bland one-trick ponies, and Catty got some development ony after the popularity of MH started waning. Also, she was released in multipacks half of the time, and wasn't available in a lot of places. I wanted her siggy, but that was a phantom release in Czech Rep., and all the later releases we got were the ones with molded-on pink gloves...
Also, I think that MH werecats and cat girls in manga and anime are somewhat different, MH ones being, well, monsters rather than nekomimi cuties, and while the audiences do overlap, they are not identical (I love both, I love anything cat-related).

Mattel's distribution schemes were source of much facepalming through the line's duration.

Thank you!!!
