The Green Glass Door riddle

I usually don't get riddles but I got this one quickly. Let's try not to post the answer too soon.

There is a green glass door that only certain things can enter-
A puppy but not a dog
A kitten but not a cat
There is a roof but no ceiling
There are grass and weeds but no lawn
A boot and a foot but not a shoe

Are you starting to get the idea?
