This was such a cute installment! It was also rather thought-provoking.

I fully agree with Trish's assessment: Kiz is the "most ferociously free-spirited doll I have ever encountered," and I have been following doll and toy photo accounts and photo-stories for... longer than I am comfortable admitting. Kiz, Cheeto, and Finn are the most "alive" dolls I recall seeing.

It will be interesting to find out if Trish can adjust to the not-so-exciting life of a real-world doll.

"Sitting on a shelf with a dozen other broken souls...." That sounds so sad! True, but sad. I may need to re-think the situations of some of my little plastic friends. But then, "being shuttled around the globe because their owners couldn't bond with them" doesn't sound much better.

I am beginning to wonder if the "mental anguish" is taking more of a toll on Kizuna than it is on Trish. Do I detect a trace of envy in her pointed (hee hee) barbs?
