The actual mewsical's energy was much more intense. What with cats running up and down the aisle. Pracning here and there and flying through the very air.

Really go for the musical if you can, the cats running around the aisle made the energy much more electrifying. Esepcially if you are able to find out which audience aisle is Mr Mistoffelees likely to be moving down along to find Old Deuteronomy (Mine was right audience aisle).Movie opens next week for me.

And Helen and Erika ended up being rechnically Mr Mistoffelees and Victoria(Victoria dosen't sing I know)

Oh, this is adorable! I've seen the musical once live, and it was so much fun. Not sure how I'm feeling about the movie... apart from being sure it really should have been animation.

I'm catching the movie for Meowneto's sake, the moment I saw Ian McKellen's name. I'm not sure how I feel about the movie yet. I'm already trying to explain it away like its a very Catwoman costume what with Cassandra the slinky dark brown-white belly lady cat who came slinking down my aisle(left audience side) brought Selena Kyle to mind. Everybody not furry enough is a short hair cat.

That or be prepared to binge watch youtube videos of the musical to reinforced your original memory. I'm sure Miss Mistoffelees can pull a trick or three.
