How to make a sofa from a shoe box?

Postby DollyKim » Sat Jul 25, 2020 6:19 am

Does anyone have any suggestions how to make a Barbie sized sofa from something like a shoe box? Even if it will need some basic assembly is fine. A custom sofa that looks like it was made of bricks is an important part of the thing I'm doing. I just can't put the thought train together to do this.

I'm looking for a way to turn a shoe box or similar thing from what the doll came in to a couch for it to sit on. A bit of folding and gluing would be fine. It doesn't have to look exact, using cushions like the ball joints come with would be fine. I don't mind painting or doing some easy sewing as I have to make 4 of them. Wouldn't mind if the base could be used to hold stuff. It doesn't need legs.

Or if there's a way to just slap a back and arms on a lid for the shoebox would work too.
