I was totally convinced that I was not going to win an Ebay auction for a Tonner 22" American Model Belladonna outfit because they always go for much higher than my bid..... only this one didn't (it was actually $5.00 lower). I've regretted selling my original outfit several years ago and haven't been able to afford one since. It's going to look so pretty on my Lishe Elf!

In other news, all my packages are being delayed in WA at their sorting facility, but looks like they are still going to be delivered eventually.

eta: Stuff arrived! Along with the wayward Barbie and a cheap, but sadly neglected Battat horse, I got my Tonner Spiderman.

I actually found a Souldoll Chiron gray centaur head on the MP on DOA and snapped him up.

I saw Chiron advertised years ago and instantly thought he was THE perfect sculpt for my character the Shadow King, but I didn’t buy him then because I didn’t have the money. Plus, I didn’t want another 70cm doll. I wasn’t even hunting for a sculpt for SK but as soon as I saw Chiron I knew THAT is what he looks like.

I always regretted not getting him then. I instead got a (smaller and cheaper) Boy & Girl gray elf who was close, but he was always a little too angry-looking to really fit the character. SK is stern, but not pissed off. Plus, his ears are magnetic and always get knocked out of place because of his very long wig. Drives me nuts.

Anyhoo! I’m really hoping Chiron’s head will fit the B&G body and that the color match won’t be horribly off. If not, I’ll have to go hunting for a gray Souldoll body for him. There’s actually a gray body for sale on the forum, but owner ships from Russia and only accepts Western Union as payment. But I got his head which is the most important thing!

Not exactly a doll, but something that will hopefully lead to doing things with them: my recent Amazon order included some extra long and skinny beading needles so I can start on a really overdue bunch of reroots. My first needles were too big around, I think, tho they worked for my first and so far only reroot (the EO's Supersize girl which has been a redhead with magenta streaks for years.) The time before this I tried to get the right size needles they were lost in the mail. So here's to hoping these arrive safely and that I've understood the needle diameters right this time.
