Still nothing and aside from finding a downstairs unit, which is legit, it would be helpful if they would just say ‘no fixed income’ in the ads. And prices keep rising.
On all sorts of waiting lists but so are lots of other people.

Really is time to close this thread because all we’re waiting on is for the voucher inspector to pass the unit. Could take up to a week but we done

Yup, it just has to pass inspection, which it should, and we move in. But it could take up to a week for that to happen :/

Sometimes dropping everything I’m attempting to juggle helps me see what I need to pick up again.
*This blessed little place is all tile and already a liked paint color, like the one with the number 40 we thought we were getting, is letting us keep our dog, and it’s bright with east-west windows. It just took finding someone who gets our combo of income type, voucher, and long tenancy is a good bet.

Thanks. I’m trying to avoid anything much that can slip into magical thinking because it’s very easy for my brain to get into that hard.
I’d rather be grumbling about doll stuff, hasn’t shipped yet, clay isn’t dry, eyeball rolled under the dresser. Once we get home it’ll be about getting stuff done that’s been waiting for a long time
*And then the hotel people say they thought we were leaving early and the inspector calls us to schedule confusing our number for the owner’s
