I've decided to gift my Ruby doll, sans clothes, to my coworker for her niece. Her niece won a Ruby at school for something, and loved her, but then their dog got into the toy box and found her. Now she has no arms. My Ruby has just been sitting in a box for months, and I'd rather her have a new home and be loved than just sit in the loft of my workshop.

That's very nice of you, Katriella.

We were at our new local Target earlier today and I snagged Ainsley Slater Shadow High Trunk Show Special Edition with a total of 4 outfits - on sale!

Krystal and Emi after a spa day. Krystal had her hair in rollers overnight and I dyed Emi's hair with Eggplant fabric dye. Now she looks a lot more like her promotional art. I'm really happy with Emi now, but Krystal's face needs some work. Since her skintone was changed last minute, her face print is super light, and I want her features to be darker. You can barely see her eyebrows!

Here are my two Rainbow boys, on my new shelf that holds all my singers. I finally unboxed River as I was never able to sell him and I got Finn out of his box. Poor Finn looked so cold to me in his surfer gear, so I took some of River's second outfit to dress him up a bit. I still don't care for the shorts so I will probably figure out how to make Finn some full jeans. I am also seriously considering getting River a wig.

So I popped one of my extra Ellowyne wigs on River and I really, really like him in black hair! I wish to hell I knew how to re-root, but since half his head is shaved anyway, there is no way I'm about to start learning on a doll that would be difficult to do like that. Besides, hair. As I have stated before: I do many things well. Hair is not one of them.

Also, I saw some of the new Shadow High line on Amazon. (Which btw, has some pretty good prices right now on various RH dolls; better than Wallys or Target online prices.) They are less money, but they only have the one outfit. I rather like the ebony boy and the pale girl, but probably not going out of my way to get either.

So here is River. My DH said he looked too much like a girl, but it's a good wig and I don't want to make it shorter/more masculine looking. I'm good with River exploring his feminine side.

I honestly never thought of putting a wig on the boy dolls! Now I want to go dig through my wigs and play
I fell for Rainbow High dolls hard in 2022! My favorite is Simone Summers - I named her Gunape, The Sun Rose, after the goddess in Tamara Pierce's Trickster books
I just got Rexx McQueen yesterday, mostly because he is a boy doll and they can be so hard to find. I am not happy that he only has one outfit, but he is BEAUTIFUL! i didn't expect to love him this much. I think he has a new head mold too!

Does this, will this, enhance my life or the lives of others?

The only boy dolls I've found on the shelf have been Jr. High guys.

Here's series 5... I'm done. I'm really glad Aiden finally got a doll, but... No, I'm not even getting him. I was so in love with Rainbow High when it launched, but it's changed so much...

Besides getting a sale priced Sabrina, I also got Rexx, Victoria and Kim. I don't usually care for the stronger colors and most of my collection is pastel, but I really liked something about Kim and seeing her in person, I like her even more. Victoria's lipstick is odd, but it seems it wasn't an error. I love her freckles. Really like Rexx! Can't wait to open his box and see if he has a hole in his head too LOL!
