Minty fresh bug repellant lotion

Discovered the following ratio worked because I had no idea what I was doing but I didn't get bit last night so I suppose it does the trick. You will smell like toothpaste but critters seem to hate it.

Ingredients-
Basic lotion base, I used the Soap Expressions one which is easy to find
Peppermint oil, not extract or essential oil but pure peppermint oil from the baking section
For every 4oz of lotion base add 1 dram of oil and mix thoroughly

It will be strong and might thin out the lotion a bit but it works. Apply a layer to everywhere you can apply lotion to. There will be a refreshing cooling sensation.

Honestly, even without being a bug repellent, this sounds amazing.

I can report that the cooling sensation is nice for hot flashes and cooling off your feet.

The lotion base itself is unscented, if that's something you're concerned about, and so far hasn't aggravated my skin which is allergic to everything.
