Victoria Hulks Out.

Postby Kd_Bunchanumbers » Wed Dec 29, 2010 2:54 am

I've always wanted a nice body POSABLE body for my Victoria doll but yeah, since she's ULTRA pale I had three options. Track down a volks body, track down a crappily articulated Fashion Royalty OR get a Cy Girl. I could just deal with the mismatch or spraypaint a body, but that's so... not me.

So woo, Takara Cy Girl Body. It's *slightly* yellower than Victoria's head but eh, much better than the ballerina body I had her on. Many thanks to Ivory Stardust for this body (but many boos to the Postal service being sucky at Xmas time)...

Amazingly, I LOVE the Cy Girl body. It's single joint knees are beautifully functional and the arm/wrist articulation is awesome.
Though she has the most detailed nipples I've seen on a figure. Yeah.

So this session she's wearing her default top, and the Twilight Jacob's shorts. Her skintone is slightly mismatching but it looks MUCH better than the ballerina body I had her on.

Whoa, she's hot! I've been looking at these bodies for a while (often sold under the Toys City label, for those who want to find 'em) but with my backlog of "to do" projects, I keep putting off buying any. It looks like an extremely close facsimile of the Cy Girl 2.0 body (except the CG bodies don't have nipples) which is still one of my favorite designs.

How would Obitsu pale match up with her? (I was eying Victoria in the toy store before Christmas -- I like the hair and face, but the character I'm thinking of MUST have a jointed body, and she's not one I want to have MAD at me over anything....)

Her body matches Obitsu pale EXACTLY so the difference is about the same... It's just the size difference you should consider...

David, I think I'm hooked. I definitely recommend picking up a few bodies since I quite like this body (and I've handled a few in my life) so yeah, get some :D

And thanks everyone.

she looks great! The color isn't completely noticeable but I do notice that Mr. Super clear seems to make things a few shades lighter... you could always cover the body with a coat and see if that would help.
