Yeah, I had that done last year. I opted for distance rather than near since I'd been near-sighted most of my life. I almost wish I'd stayed with near-sighted since I was so used to seeing things close up (like reading) without the need for glasses.

Yay for Cataract Surgery! Mine worked out well for me. My clear vision used to be about 1 inch away from my eyes. Now it's at 10 inches and I can walk around the house without my glasses. I kept the near as that was what I was used to. Best part is not poking my nose with a needle when handsewing.

When I got LASIK I opted for Dominant eye, clear near sight, non dominant, driving distance. My brain had zero problems coping. So that is what we are going for again.

Harry Potter potions surprise ball, nice magic stuff for 1/6ish scale dolls. Not going to make the goop. The ball it's self has a table inside to make it a display piece which is nice and some of the packaging is paper to unwrap instead of packets to tear open.

*The thing in the upper left hand corner goes in the top of the prize ball, I have the cork in the wrong end ~derp~, and it makes the ball look like a clear bottle with a cork and the little things on a table inside.

I don't like Harry Potter (and have deep issues with the woman who wrote it) but I DESPERATELY want the Harry Potter surprise balls for the magic stuff.

With these surprise balls there's always a secondary market, with this set once you take the wrapper off you can tell from the pamphlet what set it is without opening any of the surprises. I've picked up a lot of my recent stuff off Ebay and Etsy because I just wanted specific pieces. I'm wanting some more too and as I have some serious adulting ahead plastic crack is an easy way to reward myself for doing it.

Re Ment has a set called the witch house, or something like that, which has magic stuff. There's also an astronomer's set.

On the buying side a 2nd edition (white dress) Avon exclusive Mrs PFE Albee (the first Avon Lady) Barbie shoes and all manifested at the junk store. What ever her face mold is it's exactly what I want for another project. The only issue I have with her is the hair doesn't seem right for the between bustles era, too plain in the back. But I don't want to mess with her because she's in really good shape.

I have the witch set, really want the astronomer's set, but it has to wait a while. Shailoh keeps bugging me, demanding more magical paraphernalia.

Michaels makes these in two sizes, tell me they weren't made for magickal doll supplies. They also have a nice assortment of doll sized decor different from the little spooky town stuff. Saw a nice little cabinet with doors and a Coffin shelf with a clock in it. Whole row of white based whispy art work decor.

JoAnn has deep coffin shaped shelves and some nice paper storage boxes. Was tempted to get one to replace the boot bot the Unoas are in but they're not in to Halloween outside of the candy.
