Disney Holiday Princess dolls

Postby kenaiqueen » Mon Oct 14, 2024 5:10 pm

I got the latest in the series of the holiday dolls. They call them Holiday princesses but I don't think that Tinkerbelle is actually a princess. At any rate, this year's doll Belle showed up fairly quickly for a change and even tho she's supposed to be my Christmas gift, I opened her early.

I should have taken a pic of her cute boots but I'm too lazy to go back and do that. :) You'll have to trust me.
Here is the whole group so far and I'm not particularly happy with the continuity. Ariel was the first and she was lovely. Rapunzel is okay, nice dress but a far more cartoony face. Tink I'm not in love with but since I didn't have any Tinkerbelle dolls, I got her so I could have the series. She also has the cartoon face. Belle is back to the pretty, more realistic face. Other than the caplet riding up around her face too much, I like her looks and I love her dress.

I have them together for now but I may move Tink at some point since I don't think she really fits with the group.
Just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD.

Ooh, I love her! They don't make dolls of Belle in the pink winter outfit very often.

Fun fact, Tinkerbell actually WAS part of the Disney Princess line before Disney made the Fairies line.
