Yes. I think I posted a thread on her a while back. Talia and Rolan were my Covid quarantine project. I still want to turn my Toby/Spiderman into Mags. And if I ever find a cheap Rufus, I'll make her a Dirk.

Put the week off to a bit of use. Everyone is really showing their age, it's weird who and what parts are sticky or discolored but they've been thru a lot.

Kind of doll related, I'm making quick reference flash cards for myself for the story that most of the characters iny Dollyverse come from. Characters, creatures, places, that kind of thing. I might do something similar for the Dollyverse versions. I'm mainly just tired of having to get the big binder of character profiles out every time I'm trying to remember which brother has green eyes . . .

I've missed you all so much while the forum was down. Anyways, I completely stopped working on Dolloween costumes and started making stuff for the two new boy dolls I got. I haven't finished any of that either... I drafted patterns and sketched designs, then cut out pieces, and the cut out pieces are sitting in a pile on my desk under my sketchbook. lol

I have decided, against my better judgement, to attempt to draft a doll sized pattern for one of those "I just killed my husband" robes.

Something like this:

Do I know what I'm doing? No. Have I ever worked with this kind of material? Not at all. Am I stupid/crazy enough to attempt to do it anyway? Absolutely.

You are brave! That fabric is so slippery, I hate working with it. But I sure love the look of it. Do some homework and get some tips to help you cut and sew slippery fabrics.

Good luck. That fabric is hard to work with. You might have to get some fabric stiffener to put on . This might make sewing it easier.

If you use a very fine tulle netting it might be easier to work with, my MSDs have a robe with tiny ghosts on it that I didn't even need to hem. I've also made one of those robes for a Gene doll, fluff and all. Definitely make a practice one first to get the shape right.

Make up the whole robe, hems and all, before adding the fluff. It will add a bit of stiffness to hem and cuffs.

I'm finally going to make Mini Me and Mini Hubby out of Rainbow High dolls. I'm very excited about this, and can't wait for their bodies to arrive from Ebay! Rainbow High is my favorite brand, so I'm excited to do a self portrait doll with a Rainbow High doll.
