Gloom Beach Jackson is handsome, haven't seen the new batch of Basics yet but I haven't been doll shopping either as I haven't been looking for anyone. He's have to be a really hot dark haired Ken to make me want him then it's the 100 poses or limp wrist who'd lose his head pending on the neck. After Deadwood (thanks, John) I don't want another useless Ken just standing around.

Hey would the same bob type wig 3.5 inchs I have for Haruka fit the Parabox Obitsu Muffin head? It just clicks with Riven's characters personality and so far I know it will be likely months before I buy it for him and he'll likely use Haruka's for awhile if it will fit him.

In general any 3-4" wig will fit most 1/6 scale dolls. Shop around for wig bargains, the Mini ones from Monique.com fit 1/6 dolls, some other companies go that small. Check Ebay for wig lots as well. My girls share a batch where it's the same style but 3 different colors.

I saw the coolest thing last night. A RAINBOW ring around the MOON! I've seen a plain white ring around the moon before but this time it had all the colors.

On the topic of dolls I keep looking at the Kens. I've seen the Japan Ken a couple of times. It's a nice face and different from the regular Kens but a ridiculous outfit and I don't think he's very jointed. Then there's the Basic Kens if I could actually find one.

I KNOW! I'm so excited. It's bad enough that I've ended up wanting just about the whole line. I really wish they'd offer more clothing packs. I'm not the only one. There are plenty of us out there willing to pay for them.

I need a Clawdeen and Ghoulia and then I'll be satisfied with my MH collection. Promise. Although the GB Frankie is sooo very cute and I love her face screening. Space is really getting to be at a premium in my doll room. I'm even thinking about getting rid of some of the Breyers to make more space. None of my darlings, mind you - just the four Pacers that will hardly stand up and drive me nuts.

In other news I'm going to supply some whine. Someone else can bring the cheese. My rheumatoid arthritis is driving me crazy. I'm in near constant pain and the level of my biologic (basically an immuno-suppressant chemotherapy) has been upped to the point that I'm borderline nauseous all the time. RA attacks soft tissue, not bone. My current flare is affecting my larynx (because the cartilage there must be especially yummy) and most of my extremities. There isn't any swelling thanks to the biologic, but I'm still puffy, red, grindy, and I never know when I take a step if my hips are going to hold me. So I have my cane and while it isn't a House cane it's a semi-cool leopard patterned one. I try to stay positive and keep my chin up but if this is what it's like at 36 where am I going to be in another 10 years?

I have no cheese only sympathy, Mary Kathryn. Your arthritis sounds painful and sucky. Sometimes, one just has to whine about things like that.

MK, all that I can offer is that ginger in about any form may help you with the nausea. When Mythbusters tested nausea/seasickness remedies, three came out on top in this order: scopalamine patches (scrip), ginger, dramamine. You can get crystalized ginger about anywhere there is oriental food, ginger drink, ginger tea, ginger candy. I always have some around JIC.
