Kirscha Royale - Home at Last

I have been quiet here, but this is what I'm up to this year. I'm working with a 4" small fairy created by Dream High Studio. She's LE tan Mimi and she's going to do up this dollhouse. Bohdan is a 6" elf by Tinybear. He's a local handyman and will be helping her. Kirscha has already helped Bohdan's sister Rumer, but we don't yet know how. So Kirscha and Bohdan have been writing to each other for some time, though they have never met before.
BonBon is a friend of Bohdan's. She's also an elf. They all live in the magical land of Taw Wood. This is the arrival story.


Bohdan met Kirscha at her new home... let's drop into their lives and linger for a while, shall we?


"Bohdan, it is good to finally meet you. Are you well?"


"Very well, my Lady, and yourself, Ma'am?"
"In joyful spirits. I see the house is as you described. Such a sad state, yet perfect to be renovated."


"Indeed Ma'am, would you care to view it? All the furniture arrived earlier today and has been laid out as you asked."


"Yes, I am anxious to view and thank you for taking charge of the deliveries. What a day I've had, kind Bohdan. I dashed from the airport to Ginny's Attic. Such fine furniture they had. So much choice that I was hard pushed to make a decision, but as you see I was able to make the purchases.
I did order the doors. I hope they are to your requirements."

"They have yet to be installed, but they are perfect, Ma'am."
"Kirscha, please Bohdan. Are we not on first name terms? Now show me what I've got to work with."


"The kitchen, Ma'...Kirscha. It came furnished, but I fear it's not to your standards and everything is in need of decorating, though I knew when I saw the house up for sale that it would suit your Ladyship much better than the original house."


"It is excellent and a very good choice, but I fear my reputation is somewhat inflated. I merely require somewhere to work and a home to live in."


"This is not quite what I had in mind, so I will have to install stomething more modern. White and pine, perhaps, but the red is cheerful so that could stay. Hmmm... yes, the red is perfect."
"I'm glad you like the red. BonBon will be delighted to hear it. She was more than happy to add a bit of colour for your arrival."
"Bohdan, you didn't!"
"No, your Ladyship. I told no one of your erm... high birth."
"Thank you. This is a fresh start for me and I would much prefer a less formal approach, so please Bohdan, stop calling me Ma'am or your Ladyship. Promise me, from now on it will simply be Kirscha and the secret will be ours alone."
"Yes, my apologies. I promise to do as you wish. I am indebted to you for helping my sister. She looks forward to meeting you whenever you wish."
"And I look forward to meeting her at last. Such a kind spirit and so deserving of any help I could offer."
"Shall we continue? Your workroom is next door." He pointed to it allowing her to enter first.

"This is perfect and so much larger than I'd anticipated."


"I see the tools of my trade arrived safely. I'm sure I shall be very happy working here."


"How do we get to the upper floors with just the one ladder?"


"After you and I will show you."


"You are very strong and tall, Bohdan."


"But how will I manage without you?"
"I can be here in an instant, just clap three times."
"But of course, you are an elf after all. We fairies have our own magic you know?" She giggled.
"Yes, I know and am very glad of it." They both laughed.


"Now this is what I dreamed of. It will be very elegant when it's finished."


"The dining room furniture is perfect. It will be a fine place to entertain. Shall we try it?"


"It is very grand for the likes of me, Kirscha, but I'm sure there will be many to share your table."
"Nonsense, Bohdan. You are very welcome to join me here."


"Do sit and tell me, are the chairs comfortable? Could you spend an hour or two chatting over a fine meal and a glass of bubbly?"
He laughed imagining the scene and the granduer of it and to think that he, a humble craftsman, was the keeper of the secret she could scarcely conceal. He was already very fond of this fine lady.
"I could spend many hours here and never be without enjoyment for a moment. " he smiled fondly at her.

"The suite is more suited to my size, though I must admit to thinking of others for the dining room."


"You are very kind, Kirscha. You have put many before your own needs. I'm glad I can repay your kindness by helping you decorate your home."


"No need for payment of any kind. We are merely friends helping one another. Think no more of it."
They climbed to the top of the house.


"Pink! Very... ahh.... pretty. Is this also from BonBon?"
"Just a temporary loan, but she felt sure you'd need a cheerful bedroom to calm you until your own suite arrives."


"It is very cheerful."


"And very comfortable. Please tell BonBon that I shall be most... ahhh... calm here. She really is very kind."

"She's very cheerful herself as you'll see, Kirscha. She'll be delighted that you're happy."


"I'll bid you good niight and remember, just clap three times and I'll be here in an instant."
"Thank you Bohdan for all your help. I'll call you in the morning."

We leave Kirscha to sleep and recover from her long journey. Soon they will gather for their late Christmas celebrations, until then... Fairy Blessings to one and all.

How much fun Kirscha is going to have decorating that house.

Very cute! And does Kirscha perhaps have a different color than pink in mind for her boudoir?

Kirscha has been looking at wallpaper and flooring for ages and I think she's decided. In earlier posts (on her blog) she shows the bedroom furniture she wants. Very Art Deco and the beautiful satin turquoise fabrics, so her bedroom is definitely not pink. She's not that much into pink though she does love her pink boots. LOL She may use pink in her work room.

Many of the items are already ordered and we're just waiting for deliveries, but the new kitchen and bedroom are just bookmarked at present. Lights, flooring, wallpaper have yet to be chosen for the hall, bedroom and work room.

There is so much choice! Makes my head boggle, don't know about hers, but then she's a fairy and they are used to flitting about rather quickly. *grin*

Wow, dollhouse scale! How fun.

There is a huge variety in dollhouse furniture. You're going to have a blast decorating.

Both of your dolls are very inspiring, so that should be no problem. I look forward to more stories of the renovation!
