Any idea where I could find...

Postby ivory stardust » Thu Apr 08, 2010 5:39 pm

I am having some difficulty finding just the right body for one of my girls. What I am looking for is something with Volks or Obitsu-like articulation, white skin (pale, pale, pale)... somewhat on the busty side. But she's a zaftig girl, (more substantial, she likes to say) so she needs to be a bit thicker than the Obitsu or Volks tend to be.

I've heard of a few other female figures, more action figure type, but I don't think they come in the pale white skin.. or am I wrong?

Wasn't there some of those Girls' mission action figures? Those were like junior cygirls action figures or something, I don't recall a pale but I could be wrong

If you are gonna use an action figure type body, please be weary of the size of the girlish doll's head and the larger body's neck making the doll in question look somewhat bull necked(see her arms too). An older photo. My red head(Obitsu W02) on Ladies mission or Soldier Story body i think

I'm using slim male/Neo goh heads for my amazonian bodies. The one in purple is on a TTL (no pale that I'm aware of) and the other one is a BBI Perfect body (Goth series have pale)

Thanks for the tips. ^_^ I think I may have found something that will work. And I didn't even think about the pin-head look she might have ended up with! But, I think the Obitsu Male 02 will be good for her with the right hair and face-up.

The Slim male/ Neo Goh heads usually work with the amazon bodies since they are kind of the same size as the the usual Cycgirl heads. Bishonen heads are always one paint job away from being a Amazonian gal/androgynous gal. There's also the W03 female head that some folks use with these bodies,

I'm not sure if I have a pic of an attempt to use the Ares head, you might have to do something with the neck hole to make it stay(memory a bit fuzzy, hadn't look at my Ares head for a while)

TTL makes a pale body. I have all the Girl Mission dolls but they don't come in pale.

Does anyone have a 25cm gal and a Pureneemo gal together? The Pureneemos may have different set of articulation but according to some folks those gals are a little meatier

Not the best example here but. My 27cm Obis with their Purenemo and one 25cm(Taiga Aisaka in center) friends

Oh, I might be too late to join this thread but I just bought a body from maywong-san (TTL) whose skintone matched the Volks/Obitsu heads very well (Almost exact) and is a chunkier body than those 2 companies produce for females.

I couldn't use it for the project I had intended it, so I posted it on eBay:

It's over in about 57 minutes, though, so I don't know if you have time left to bid, if you even wanted it. ^^;;

I didn't get a chance to even log in here til just now, so I missed your auction, Setsuna. :( At least it looks like someone else will be giving the girl a good home, so that's cool. ^_^

Thanks to all y'alls suggestions, I had some idea of what to search for and managed to find almost exactly what I was looking for... the hips are about the line I was wanting, and I think this will give the zaftig hourglass figure I was looking for once she's dressed. :)

And yeah, Iwa, I think the Slim Male head 02 is just a paint job away from girly too... lol... if it looks too big or guy-ish when done I'll probably switch to the girl head 03 then. One of those is bound to work. ^_^

This girl is very special to me, she's the first D&D character I ever created and I've been playing her for over 2 years, so she's pretty near & dear to my heart. I have to admit I'm a bit picky about everything having to do with creating her in dollieh form.
