Now that I've seen Is without a faceup I can see the potential in the sculpt...I think there's something about the factory paint that isn't flattering somehow.

She (She?) is adorably chubby. I notice that the eyes are also very wide set, as in, unusually far from the nosebridge, which might turn some folks off. I think it could look awesome with slightly smaller eyes than are recommended to give more expression.
