My pet mermaid

They're too sexy for their clothing - but they have to wear them anyway! Did you buy it? Did you make it? Who cares - let'm strut their stuff here!

My pet mermaid

This was an idea that I had posted on the sewing forum, and here it is executed. I used ribbon for all of it. It came out ok I think...

I apologize for the pics, I don't have a steady hand.

That is so neat. Is the tail a spiral of fabric? It looks great :)

Very nicely done! I think she wants a bit of gravel and plants in the tank though :)

No, its ribbon in squares, I did a kind of quilted tube thing, and it just spiraled when I sewed it. And thanks! :D :D :D

Thank you Greyhaunt, I wished it did too, I'll have to do something better when the tank becomes a terrarium.

Oh, and this thread is going to be mired with pics of the stuff I sew...sorry, I'm currently unemployed with a lot of time on my hands. Again, I'm sorry in advance.

Never apologize for happy things - not unemployment, mind you, but lots of sewing and pics is always acceptable!

Looks so cute! And me too, darn it not being warm enough yet!
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.
