I decided to grab Pinkie Pie mostly cuz the set with Spike and Twilight Sparkle was out of my budget... I must admit I LOATHE the Cutie Mark Crusaders, representing everything I loathe in children, but considering Sweetie Bell IS Rarity's sister, and I love Rarity, I decided to get the set, since it cost less than buy two separate ponies.
I'm... appalled Pinkie pie comes with straight hair. Her without curly craziness means she's not smiling and crazy and on crack. Also she's working on a rock farm (I've watched too much of this show)...

With a bit of trimming and brushing, I think I finally got Pinkie's hair to actually suit her personality...
Pinkie Pie: You see, I saw you when you first got here, remember? You were all, hello, and I was all, (gasp), remember? You see I never saw you before, and if I never saw you before that means you're new, 'cause I know every pony, and I mean ''every pony'' in Ponyville, and if you're new, it means you haven't met anyone yet, and if you haven't met anyone yet, you must not have any friends, and if you don't have any friends you must be lonely, and that made me so sad, and I had an idea, and that's why I went (gasp), I'll just throw a great big ginormous super-duper spectacular welcome party and invite everyone in Ponyville. See? And now you have lots and lots of friends!
Yeah, after Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie is my absolute fav character for bending reality and generally being on crack.
Those balloons are full of crack.

I'm not sure how I'll tackle Sweetie Bells' hair though :/
