OK it's not a tragedy but dammit, I got water in my office again, after paying all the money for the new french drain. It just isn't doing the job.

Back to vacuuming up more water and treating the carpet so it doesn't mildew and stink.

*edit* So told Sillyhubby that I did expect the money to put back... he said if he had enough left from his check he would. He did apologize, but he still knows I'm pissed. >_>;;;

I order this new doll body from Hong Kong and found out that they sent the wrong body!

OK, we did not have tornado damage. But I got EVEN MORE flooding in my office. Spent the whole damn night vacuuming up water (it found a whole NEW place to come flooding in!) and sucking it up with a tiny pump that emptied into a bucket I in turn had to empty. I think I pulled out 500 gallons of water, 5 gallons at a time. My back and legs are killing me. And we lost our net so I am on dialup. I can't work with my collabers, look at anything with pictures, or get standard email.

I know that in the big picture this is all petty, but I just want to curl up in my bed and cry.

oh no! That isn't petty at all. Thats affects your life hugely considering your work requires a lot of networking. It also doesnt sound like anything that will clear up anything fast. ALso I know you have a lot of animals to take care of. If I were responsible for so many little lives, this would freak me out.
