Happy Birthday Omi! 6/6/11 Omi turned 4

5 people and 6 dolls went to the Mall of America, and had Birthday Treats at the American Girl Bistro. Omi looked fit to kill as he realized that we had brought him to a bastion of pink! It was a great time!

The staff had seats for everyone, and brought cups and lemonade for the dolls!

Kumiko couldn't quite reach hers...

Melody and a friend... (sorry, I forgot his name.)

Image
Omi was not happy about the party hat and birthday sticker, but he perked up at the brownies on a stick and the ice cream!

Image
Hazel only had eyes for the cake! Viola was ignoring her fairy squeals of delight...

Image
ME: Hazel, it's bigger than your head!
HAZEL: But it's cake! And pink!! And I didn't have lunch...

Image
Omi really enjoyed his brownies!

Image
Kumiko had donut holes.

Image
ME: Hazel... are eating a brownie too?
HAZEL: It's chocolate, it's good for me!
VIOLA: I don't know her, lalalalalalala....

Image
Melody was mesmerized by the molten chocolate cake!

Image
HAZEL: I don't think I have room for the cookie...
VIOLA: I can't imagine why!

Image
Omi and Viola shared a relaxing moment after all the partying.

OMAKE

Hazel really wanted this bike!

That looks like one of the coolest birthdays ever! I think I'll have to hit it up next time I'm up in MN.

Actually, they really enjoy our dolls. We have been bringing them there since the store opened. The people who work there are doll people too, so they totally understood us! They treated the dolls like people and asked what they wanted too! The Bistro is on the second floor, and all the food was indeed people food! They brought the cups out and the little pitchers of lemonade for the dolls! (It was really good lemonade) The Brownie Pops were a little too sweet and rich, but the cupcake was excellent! The cookie tasted home made, too. I have the flute set, and one of the school bags. There are so many awesome accessories that fit perfectly. Viola is a 47cm, and everything fits her! Except the clothes unless you tailor them and the shoes, of course. One of the dolls has the Hanuka set, and those little cups and saucer? They sell them! They are not china, and are perfect. You can also buy the chairs that hook onto the table. We were wishing they folded, because then they would be perfect for doll meets!
