I shall give that a try, thanks victoriavictrix!
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

The weather's cloudy and cold.

In Iowa of all places.

And it's JUNE!

Ugh I'm sick. And only a few more days til I fly up to visit my mother for 2 weeks. AND the mailman did a hit and run with my package yesterday - a guitar I ordered for Rune, rang the doorbell and then dipped out before my roommate could make it down the stairs. It's only ever the actual USPS workers that do this crap. The UPS guy is awesome about waiting. And then the post office wouldn't let him pick it up for me today. T_T

As for my gripe it looks like my eye lids are swelling up again from seasonal allergies I developed this year. :( Everything around us is in bloom. It's not comfortable and not pretty but I'll live.

Ugh, my deepest sympathies. This year has been horrific for allergy sufferers -even people who don't normally *get* allergies have been hammered by them this time.
A friend of ours introduced me to Zyrtec D this year- it's not perfect, but allows the best balance of allergy suppression and mental functionality that I've found.

I'm on I can't believe it's not Claritin, keeps the swelling down enough and I can still think. I'll be seeing my doctor next week anyway.

The best thing my smother can say is I'm allergic to what I'm using to make Roger and my dolls! The same stuff I've been using for years. Not like it's the EVERYTHING around us in bloom.

What currently suckz for me right nao is the fact that I probably have a minor burn on the bottom joint of my left middle finger. Hopefully it doesn't interfere when I try to play violin or piano...

-raises hand- I don't usually get hay fever, but it seems that's what my aforementioned illness is. Itchy eyes, runny nose, sore, scratchy throat, and sneezing. Oh em gee the sneezing. Makes it really hard to sew. And the Central Florida area is in a drought, so there isn't even any rain to wash the stuff out of the air. All I have in the house is childrens' liquid Benadryl.

DK and Oka: SOME people get better relief from the herb Butterburr than the Clariten analogs. In an actual clinical double-blind study, 75% got at least some relief, 63% got as much relief as Clariten, 42% got better relief than Clariten. It also has no side effects like drowsiness. BUT! If you have live problems you are advised to not use it, and you are advised not to stay on it any longer than you have to.

Thanks for the tip! I'll look into it. I'd much rather use an herbal remedy any day. I hate taking so much as acetaminophen for a headache, let alone stuff with other effects. >.<

Yeah, right now I don't need extra sleepies. Some of this has to be related to the BS and stress of the move that ain't gonna happen and the blame game and army of excuses from the right fighters I live with that are sure to follow. Part of it is a lack of friends around here I can find a release with, I didn't learn how as a child, was discouraged from several fronts as a teen, and was burned as a young adult. I'm trying to figure out what this last 6 months, 3 especially, have done for me aside from put my life on hold.

I see my doctor later this week, although I might go back to urgent care today. The swelling only goes down so far with the allergy pill and its very uncomfortable.
