Werewolf plushy?

Ok, so stuffed animals aren't exactly dolls - most of us have them and some of us make them so why not?

Werewolf plushy?

Postby Trethowan » Sun May 29, 2011 10:18 pm

I've been thinking about searching for or trying to make an 80cm tall werewolf plushy. I've found a few patterns I might be able to modify. We'll see what I can come up with over the next few weeks. :-)

That sounds really cool! I love werewolves and plushies, so plushy werewolf is just win. Can't wait to see how it goes!

Look up the Northsound plushie pattern. Very easy to modify :3

Awesome, since I didn't want to buy the Jurgis werewolf-head doll, and Jim is a werewolf, this will be a perfect, if perhaps silly, way to include him in photostories. :-) I downloaded the Northsound pattern, thank you!! I'm pretty sure I can size this up, it should be perfect. Yay!! Thanks again. :-)

They are pretty decent size. I have to make one still
But here they are next to each other

And with their owners, they are good sized

Oh wow, that's awesome! If I were to make a fur-suit, I'd make a Tauren with the giant bull-horns. That would be pretty epic.

Yay, I bought faux-wolf fur from Distinctive Fabrics.com. I already have plushy-stuffing. Next is to find eyes. I think size 18 or 20mm eyes would glue into a pre-sewn socket right? Maybe? I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Updates!!! I'm so excited, the faux wolf fur arrived and it is BEAUTIFUL!!! It is sooo realistic. I'm very excited. I have my printed anthro pattern, and hopefully some time this week I'll get a chance to edit the pattern. I was also thinking about adding dowel rods in the legs for a little extra support. Maybe even putting a ball joint in the knees and wiring a skeletal structure inside. If nothing else it would help him stand.
